Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov told about the large-scale military exercises in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, APA reports.
Addressing an event in the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski, Minister Hasanov said that Nakhchivan that has been developing dynamically for years should be protected safely and is being protected.
The minister noted that a special attention should be paid to the development of military structures in Nakhchivan, as well as in other regions: “The exercises have proved the presence of personnel’s high spirit. They are ready to prevent any attack and perform combat task.”
Zakir Hasanov noted that the army is ready at any moment to liberate the occupied territories under the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
