Pashazadeh noted that today, peaceful coexistence in Muslim societies is very important, as it has always been: “The Muslims have been suffering from slaughters in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine for several years as a result of internal discords. We are extremely concerned over these tragic events. The Azerbaijani Muslims underwent the Armenian aggression, 20 per cent of our territories, ancestral land of Karabakh were occupied, genocide was committed in Khojaly. Fraternal Muslim countries, some international Islamic organizations demonstrated solidarity with us and defended our rights when Azerbaijan faced the Armenian aggression. Azerbaijani people highly estimate the efforts of our brothers recognizing the territorial integrity of our country, supporting us in spreading the truth of Azerbaijan all over the world and express their gratitude to them.”
