Baku-APA. The funeral of Palestinian ambassador to Czech Republic Jamal al Jamal, who was killed in a blast while handling the embassy's safe in Prague, will take place in Ramallah Wednesday, a Palestinian embassy spokesman announced Tuesday, APA reports quoting AP.

Jamal's remains were transported aboard a plane from Prague on Monday and will be buried in the town of Al-Bira on the west bank of the Jordan River, about 15 km north of Jerusalem, said Nabil el Fahel.

Jamal, 56, succumbed to the injuries he suffered in the blast while handling a safe in his diplomatic flat in the Prague-Suchdol neighborhood on Jan. 1, according to Czech police.

Czech police have ruled out terrorist attack. They also reported that unregistered weapons were found in the embassy building.
