Next year Azerbaijan to allocate AZN 6 019 000 for preparation of Baku 2015 First European Games

The first European Games are planned to be held in Baku in June, 2015. The games are held by the International Olympic Organization connecting 49 National Olympic Committees of Europe.

A decision to hold the first European Games in the history was passed at the 41st General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees (EOC). The secret ballot was held after the speeches, out of 48 participants 38 voted for, 8 against, 2 abstained. Consequently, for the first time in the history, General Assembly of the EOC decided to hold the European Games in Baku.
