Azerbaijan starts to supply its army with newly produced air bombs

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Industry is working to supply the Armed Forces with high-precision and powerful air bombs.

APA reports that currently local enterprises are carrying out projects to produce air bombs and training bombs of different sizes needed by Military Air Forces.

Local enterprises will give information about produced air bombs at “Azerbaijan in 10 years” exhibition.

Experts of the Ministry said that fuel air bombs produced in Azerbaijan differ from its analogues produced in the post-Soviet space in its destructive power and secure transportation. Moreover, different types of helicopters (Mi-17, Mi-35 M), training and combat aircrafts will be supplied with these bombs.

50, 100 and 250 kg training bombs produced by the Ministry differ from their foreign analogues in their durability and precision. A number of countries have already expressed their interest in the training bombs.
