To him, transportation of the wounded through Azerbaijan allows reduce the term of medical evacuation by two hours.

He noted that playing a transit role in the delivery of cargo of the NATO peacekeepers in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan actively collaborates with the military alliance: ‘30% of the peacekeepers’ cargo are delivered thorough the territory of Azerbaijan. After complete withdrawal of NATO’s peacekeepers from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan will continue its active participation in strengthening Afghanistan’s state structure and restructuring process.
