Azerbaijan to gain approximately â‚¬120-130 million from European Games

Baku-APA. “All the broadcasting rights of the European Games belong to Azerbaijan. On the proposal of the European Olympic Committee we will sell these rights to the European Broadcasting Union,” Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov said at the press conference on the 1st European Games to be held in Baku, APA reports.

Minister said the incomes will be formed in four directions.

“Azerbaijan will have the incomes from all the sponsors. Moreover, the right of brands and ticket sale has been given to our country. At least €100 million will enter our budget. The income will be approximately € 120-130,” he said.

Minister said there is necessary infrastructure to host the European Games and believes that the expenses will not be too high.
