Apasport.az website reports that members of Azerbaijani delegation â€“ Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, his deputy â€“ Ismayil Ismayilov, Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee Khazar Isayev, chef de mission of Azerbaijani team Ilham Madatov, other officials and sportsmen attended the event.

Mayor of Londonâ€™s Olympic village opened the ceremony. He welcomed the Azerbaijani delegation and wished them successes.

Chef de mission of Azerbaijani team Ilham Madatov was invited to tribune. Our tricolor flag was raised in the Olympic village after the raising of flag of the International Olympic Committee. Then Madatov put signature on agenda book designed for all countries.

52 sportsmen will represent Azerbaijan in Olympics that will start on July 27.
