Baku – APA. Ferenc Molnar’s The Paul Street Boys translated from Hungarian to Azerbaijani by the former officer of the Azerbaijani Army Ramil Safarov, who was sentenced to life prison by the Budapest court, was published in Azerbaijani language for the first time.
According to the Book Club, Ramil Safarov also translated The Door by well-known Hungarian writer Magda Szabo (1917-2007) and the book was published in Azerbaijani in 2011. The book’s second edition will be released soon. Safarov is the Azerbaijan’s first literary translator from Hungarian. Incomes from the sale of his second translated book The Paul Street Boys will be spent for publication of the third book.
