Armenia incapable of waging war – Vice-speaker

“By violating the ceasefire regime intensively, Armenia is seeking to divert its population’s attention from domestic social-economic problems”

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. First Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov has accussed Armenia of shattering the ceasefire along the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops.

According to Ziyafat Asgarov, Armenia is seeking to divert its population’s attention from Armenia’s domestic social-economic problems by intensively violating the ceasefire regime in recent days.

Z. Asgarov also spoke about the possible start of a new war in Nagorno-Karabakh depending upon strained Russia-Europe relations in the region, noting that Armenia today is incapable of waging war.

“They just intend to divert the population’s attention from domestic problems by creating incidents. Yes, that’s true. Incidents and tension on the front line nowadays have mounted and resulted in casualties. But it’s likely that these things will soon bear a certain result. And the result is going to be that Armenia will get into trouble,” he stressed.
