A 35-member delegation from the MTP (Most Traveled People) travel club, one of the four major travel clubs worldwide, has arrived in Azerbaijan's city of Shusha as part of their visit to Garabagh and Eastern Zangazur, APA's Garabagh correspondent reports.
The travelers were briefed on the history of Shusha.
They will familiarize themselves with the historical areas of the city, as well as the restoration and reconstruction works carried out by the Azerbaijani government following the city's liberation from occupation.
Recall that the delegation is led by Charles Veley, who is ranked among the top ten travelers in the world, and the visit is joined by the international travelers from 13 countries. These countries include the U.S, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, the Philippines, Poland, Hungary, and others.
Note that the MTP (Most Traveled People) travel club has previously visited Garabagh and Eastern Zangeaur three times, this is the club's fourth visit to the liberated territories. Over the four years since the 44-day Patriotic War, nearly 400 international travelers from around 50 countries have visited Garabagh and Eastern Zangazur in large groups 10 times. Today's visit marks the 11th of such trips.
