"Today, we reaffirm our commitment to the fight against corruption from this platform," said Brigitte Strobel-Shaw, Chief of the Corruption and Economic Crime Branch of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) during the opening of the 6th Plenary Meeting of the United Nations Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities – the GlobE Network, APA reports.
She noted that the GlobE Network is a very important platform: “Corruption knows no borders; it hides in legislative loopholes. We must do everything we can to combat corruption. We need to implement practical strategies. At this event, we will strengthen trust and establish effective partnerships. We can also define legislative priorities here. This platform is essential for building connections among relevant authorities.”
