"In the fight against corruption, the most important issue is international cooperation," Deputy Chairman of Pakistan's National Accountability Bureau (NAB), told journalists during  6th plenary meeting of the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime  held in Baku, APA reports.

He noted that Pakistan is ready to sign a memorandum with Azerbaijan in the field of combating corruption: "You know, in the past year, Pakistan's Prime Minister has also declared that he will develop trade and investment with Azerbaijan. As these activities begin, there might be elements of corruption. Therefore, we may face common challenges. Azerbaijan and Pakistan can exchange experiences in the fight against corruption and organize joint training. These steps, especially in combating the most serious issue of money laundering, can yield very positive results. On behalf of Pakistan, I highly appreciate Azerbaijan's hosting of this event and I commend Azerbaijan. We are ready for all kinds of support and wish to work with Azerbaijan."
