The remains of martyr Yusif Mirzali Mammadov, who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been handed over to his family, APA reports.
A farewell ceremony for the martyr was held today.
His remains were laid to rest at the Sumgayit Martyrs' Alley.
Yusif Mammadov was born in 1972 in the city of Sumgayit. He heroically died in battles in the direction of Kalbajar on February 7, 1994.
As a result of the conducted investigations, it was discovered that Yusif Mammadov had been buried at the Martyrs' Alley in Ganja, and his identity was confirmed.
