“By 2040, we must think about creating a more sustainable and stronger Turkic world,” said Kubanchibek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), during his speech at the First Congress of Oncologists of the Union of Turkic-Speaking States, APA reports.
He emphasized the importance of expanding partnerships in the timely diagnosis of diseases.
K. Omuraliev stated that consultations are being held among 12 working groups created within the framework of cooperation in the field of traditional medicine:
“So far, meetings of two of these groups have been held. Within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), we cooperate in foreign policy, green economy, security, ecology, and other fields. By 2040, we must think about creating a more sustainable and stronger Turkic world. The foundation of our cooperation in healthcare was laid at the first meeting of Health Ministers and has been further strengthened by the next meeting held in the city of Shusha. Currently, consultations among 12 working groups within the framework of cooperation in the field of traditional medicine have begun. So far, two meetings of these groups have taken place. In many cases, people learn their diagnosis late, which prevents the timely initiation of treatment. Therefore, we must think about creating a modern treatment and therapy system.”
