The next court hearing was held in the criminal case of Oleg Krapivin, a Ukrainian millionaire known in the criminal world as "Oleg Bakinsky", and Konstantin Kucher, who were arrested in Azerbaijan on charges of hooliganism, APA reports.

In the hearing that took place today at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes under the chairmanship of Judge Elnur Nuriyev, the victim's lawyer, Samir Isayev, stated that his client, Valeriy Zakharenkov, is currently abroad and unable to come to Azerbaijan. Therefore, he did not participate in the reconciliation meetings between the parties. He stated that he would come to Azerbaijan at an appropriate time.

Witness Fuzuli Musayev sent a telegram to the court stating that he could not attend the hearing but would participate in the upcoming sessions.

Later in the hearing, Konstantin Kucher requested the trial be held online, citing health issues that made it difficult for him to attend in person.

The judge stated that this request would be revised.

It was noted in court that the trial is nearing its conclusion, regardless of whether reconciliation is reached between the parties in the next session.

The trial will continue on May 16.

Note that "Oleg Bakinsky" was arrested in Baku last year for alleged hooliganism against a Russian citizen. He was charged under Article 221.3 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons, accompanied by violence against the victim or destruction/damage of another's property). A pretrial detention measure was imposed against him.

Later, he was also charged under Article 178.4 of the Criminal Code (fraud committed causing particularly large financial damage).

Alongside "Oleg Bakinsky," Konstantin Antonovich Kucher, who served as Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense Industry for Aviation Affairs in 2010-2011, has also been found guilty in the case.

The victims in the case are identified as "Aviazapchast" JSC, "Promyshlennye Postavki Kazakhstan" LLC, and Zakharenkov Valeriy Nikolayevich.
