“We can say that regarding the duration of the heating season, a working group has already been established together with the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Ecology,” Ilham Mirzaliyev, chairman of “Azeristiliktəchizat” JSC, said during the discussion of the new draft law "On Heat Supply” at today’s session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament), APA reports.
“Based on all the incoming requests, we are working in this area. Currently, the country’s climate conditions are being assessed according to geographical regions. Depending on this assessment, the duration of the heating season will be adjusted in the colder mountainous, foothill, and lowland regions. Adding this to the law does not cause any problems,” Ilham Mirzaliyev added.
Note that in Azerbaijan, the autumn-winter season starts on November 15 and lasts until April 15 of the following year.
