The Eid al-Adha (the Feast of Sacrifice) holiday has begun in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
This year, there will be four consecutive non-working days in connection with the holiday.
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, June 6 and 7 have been designated as Eid al-Adha holiday days. Since June 7 falls on a Saturday this year, June 9 will also be a non-working day in accordance with the Labor Code. As June 8 is a Sunday, there will be a total of four consecutive days off — June 6, 7, 8, and 9.
