Institute of Earth Sciences and the National Center for Seismic Monitoring of Georgia has released information about the occurrence of an earthquake near Dedoplistskaro municipality, which is located on the border with Azerbaijan, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
The Center announced that the epicenter of the earthquake, recorded at 12:08 Tbilisi time, was located near the village of Leninovka, northwest of Dedoplistskaro. The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.7. There is no information about damage or casualties.
The tremors were also felt in the capital, Tbilisi.
Note that the earthquake was felt in Azerbaijan's border regions: Aghstafa, Tovuz, Balakan, Zagatala, Ganja, Gadabay, and other regions, with a magnitude of up to 4-3.
