On June 5, 2025, at 16:02 local time, a 3.7-magnitude earthquake at a depth of 7 km and another 3.1-magnitude earthquake at a depth of 4 km were recorded in the Shamakhi district, based on data from the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences submitted to the Emergency Situations Ministry's Crisis Management Center, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement, APA reports.
So far, no reports of damage or casualties have been received by the Ministry.
