Azerbaijan's Shusha hosted Int'l Children's Creativity Festival-PHOTO-UPDATED

On June 1, the international children's creativity festival titled “Shusha – the Cultural Gem of Turkic Unity” was held in the city of Shusha, organized by the Ministry of Science and Education,  local bureau of APA reports.

Nearly 300 schoolchildren from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary participated in the event, presenting the music and dance traditions of their respective countries.

The festival, reflecting the unity of Turkic-speaking peoples, was attended by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, renowned cultural and art figures, schoolchildren, and children of martyrs.

It is worth noting that the aim of the international creativity festival is to introduce children from Turkic-speaking nations to each other’s national customs and traditions, to strengthen friendship, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation among them, to create opportunities for the participants to proudly represent the history and culture of their countries, and to showcase the enchanting beauty of the city of Shusha.

Nearly 300 schoolchildren from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary will present the musical and dance cultures of their respective countries at the event.
