The working visit of the delegation led by Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev to the Russian city of Vladivostok continues, the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.
On September 5, the delegation participated in the Eastern Economic Forum.
Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted the forum participants and stated that the event would contribute to addressing global economic issues and serve as an example of constructive and effective dialogue.
Later, Kamran Aliyev gave an interview to the Russian TV channel "Russia 24."
In his speech at a session organized by the Russian Prosecutor General's Office, which was dedicated to the protection of business entities' rights, Kamran Aliyev highlighted that, in line with the political course of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the development of entrepreneurship is one of the main priorities of state policy and as a result of the reforms, the legislative base and necessary infrastructure of entrepreneurial activity have been improved.
Noting that large-scale reconstruction works are being carried out in Azerbaijan's territories liberated from the 30-year Armenian occupation, the Prosecutor General spoke about the creation of a favorable business environment for investments in the economic regions of Garabagh and Eastern Zangezur in the country.
The Chief Prosecutor informed the participants of the meeting that COP29, the world's most prestigious international event, will be held in Azerbaijan this November.
During the session, other speakers made presentations, and a discussion was held on the topic.
Within the framework of the visit, the Prosecutor General held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Thailand and Laos, where prospects for cooperation were discussed.
