In the future perspective, Lachin's Gorchu settlement, as well as the villages of Arikli, Pirjahan, Shelvan, and Gulabird, are undergoing domestic state procedures, said Huseyn Guliyev, an official of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Lachin District, APA's correspondent dispatched to Lachin reports.
He stated that the planning process has already begun: "In the Gulabird area, there is a water reservoir called Zabukhchay with an approximate capacity of 39 million cubic meters of water. This will be utilized for agricultural purposes. The reservoir will also supply water for irrigation in the regions connected to Eastern Zangazur and Karabakh. Additionally, possibilities will be being explored to convert this reservoir into a drinking water reserve in collaboration with the State Water Resources Agency. At the same time, the construction of the Hakari Water Reservoir is also being planned, which will serve as a source of potable water."
