A new hourly wage system will be introduced in Azerbaijan, this change will be implemented through amendments to the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Speaking at the international conference on "The Impact of Digitization and Artificial Intelligence on Workplaces," dedicated to World Labour Protection Day and the 120th anniversary of the first collective agreement, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev stated that the ministry is taking continuous steps to improve labor relations.
"Nearly 200 amendments to the Labor Code are being worked on in Azerbaijan. These changes mainly focus on regulating remote work, introducing the hourly wage system, ensuring equal pay for equal work, eliminating discrimination against employees with family members and women, and addressing other related issues," Minister Aliyev said.
