"Sea water desalination will be implemented in Azerbaijan," Zaur Mikayilov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency said at the hearing on "Water management of the country: problems and new challenges" held jointly by the Milli Majlis's Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology and Agrarian Policy Committees, APA reports.
The chairman noted that 14 foreign companies have already made proposals in accordance with this issue: "When technical water is used, it should not be in contact with people. The virus is not easy to detect. We can bacteriologically purify technical water. We can use technical water only in industry and decorative landscaping."
