Another group of former IDPs (internally displaced persons) has been sent to the newly reconstructed Hasanriz village in the Aghdara district, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
The relocated families had previously been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
At this stage, 20 families comprising 68 people are being resettled in the village.
It is worth noting that more than 40,000 people currently reside in Karabakh and East Zangezur. This population includes not only formerly displaced persons who have been resettled in the region, but also individuals involved in the implementation of various reconstruction projects, employees of local branches of government agencies, and workers in newly reopened healthcare, education, cultural, tourism, industrial, and energy entities.
