A media tour has been organized to the "Lachin" Recreation Complex, currently under construction in the village of Zerti in the Lachin district, APA reports.
Executive Director of the recreation center, Moris Karimov, stated that the total area of the center is 11.2 hectares. The "Lachin" Recreation Complex, covering an area of 42,000 square meters, has been built on this site.
M. Karimov noted that a hotel building with 120 rooms of various categories and 8 cottages have been constructed in the center: "The hotel and cottages are designed to accommodate a total of 324 guests. Both facilities have been built in accordance with modern standards to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable stay.
The complex also includes a 500-person event hall and a 340-person banquet hall, equipped with modern technology for business meetings, conferences, and other events. In addition, a 100-person conference hall and a meeting room have also been created."
The Executive Director also added that various entertainment facilities have been made available to guests to ensure they spend their time effectively at the recreation center: “These include karaoke, billiards, VR gaming zones, and a children’s entertainment center. Additionally, football and basketball courts have been built on the complex’s grounds, along with cycling and walking tracks.”
He emphasized that out of the 174 staff members who will be employed at the center, 122 are residents of Lachin and Kalbajar districts, as well as other liberated territories.
Note that President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the “Lachin” Recreation Complex in Zerti village, Lachin district, on May 27.
