Azerbaijan continues identification process for 5 of 18 remains discovered in Khojaly

According to current information, 210 people have been registered as missing persons related to the Khojaly genocide in the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, Eldar Samedov, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons told journalists, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

Of these, 38 are children, 42 are military personnel, and the rest are civilians.

Last year, 10 out of the 18 sets of remains discovered in Khojaly were handed over to families. The identification process for the others is ongoing. This is the third mass grave discovered in Khojaly. These graves are being registered and documented by the relevant authorities.
