A delegation led by Chair of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farhad Abdullayev paid a visit to Istanbul to attend the symposium "Future of Constitutional Justice in the 21st Century," organized for the 63rd anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Türkiye, at the invitation of its Chairman Kadir Özkaya, the Press Service of the Constitutional Court told APA.
During the official part of the event, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan greeted participants at Dolmabahçe Palace and poses for a group photo.
On April 27, within the event, Azerbaijan officially assumed interim chairmanship of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Turkic World (TÜRK-AY).
During the visit, exchanges of views on judicial and legal matters were held with heads and judges of constitutional oversight bodies from other countries.
