Another resettlement caravan arrived in Beylik village of Azerbaijan

On May 31, the resettlement caravan heading to its native land arrived in the village of Beylik in the Lachin district, APA reports.

At this stage, 38 families consisting of 153 people have been relocated to Beylik village.

Representatives of the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Lachin district and the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons welcoming the resettled families congratulated them on moving into their new homes.

Note that currently, more than 43,000 people live in Karabakh and East Zangezur. This includes not only former internally displaced persons who have been relocated there but also individuals working on projects being implemented in the region, as well as employees of local branches of various state institutions, and those employed in newly reactivated healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy facilities.

Azerbaijan relocated the next group of former IDPs to the Beylik village of Lachin, APA reports.

38 families (153 people) are being relocated to the Beylik village today.

From Baku city - 1 family (2 people), from Agjabedi district - 13 families (59 people), from Barda district - 13 families (45 people), from Sumgayit city - 4 families (18 people), from Ismayilli district - 2 families (11 people), from Absheron district - 2 families (7 people), from Imishli district - 2 families (6 people), from Beylagan district - 1 family (5 people) are being relocated to the Beylik village.

Thus, taking into account the relocation on May 31, 2025, a total of 89 families (363 people) were relocated to the Beylik village in the Lachin district.
