The total planned area of Azerbaijan's Horovlu village is 248 hectares, and it is projected that 3,470 people, or 867 families, will live in this village in the future, APA reports.

In the first phase, masonry work has been completed for 334 individual houses built to accommodate 1,395 people in Horovlu, and currently, exterior and interior decoration work is underway. The houses under construction consist of two, three, four, and five rooms.

Additionally, the construction of a school building, a kindergarten, and other service facilities is ongoing.

To ensure sustainable water supply in the village, a project has been implemented to restore the kahrizes (ancient underground water channels) that once existed in the area.

Note that the foundation of Horovlu village was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on May 4, 2023.
