Six Kazakh citizens who wanted to travel from the Islamic Republic of Iran to their countries via the Republic of Azerbaijan have already passed through the Astara border customs checkpoint, APA correspondent reports.
According to the report, the guests tasted sweets from the tea table prepared for them and went through the appropriate passport registration.
They expressed their gratitude to Azerbaijan.
The evacuated Kazakh citizens were met by employees of the mentioned country's Embassy in Azerbaijan.
Note that some foreign countries have appealed to the Azerbaijani government to assist in the evacuation of their citizens in Iran through Azerbaijani territory and return to their countries.
The Azerbaijani government, guided by humanitarian principles, has created the necessary conditions for the evacuation of these individuals through the Astara border crossing point.
Buses have also been allocated to transport those to be evacuated.
