On May 6, 2025, 17 Azerbaijani citizens were readmitted from the Federal Republic of Germany within the framework of the “Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the European Union on the Readmission of Persons Residing without Authorization,” APA reports, citing the State Migration Service's Press Office.
According to the statement, a Reintegration Working Group—comprising representatives of relevant state bodies and coordinated by the State Migration Service—is implementing measures to promptly resolve the challenges faced by the readmitted individuals and to ensure their effective and sustainable socio-economic reintegration into society.
