Simurg regional TV channel in Tovuz will also be broadcasted in remote villages of Azerbaijan bordering on Armenia, executive director of Simurg TV Namig Isayev told the APA.
He said that there were several difficulties in transmission of the TV channel in those areas.
“Republic-level channels are not broadcasted qualitatively in border villages. Therefore we are studying the geography of those areas at present. We regard that there is need to establish new transmitting stations in border villages,” he said.
Isayev stated that Simurg TV will appeal to relevant bodies for establishing new transmitting stations in those areas.
Simurg TV was established in 1995 and got special agreement (license) from National Television and Radio Council in 2005 for transmission in Ganja and Gazakh. /APA/
