The Chairman of the Council of Muslims of the Caucasus, Grand Mufti of the Caucasus, Sheikh ul-Islam Haji Allahshükür Pashazade delivered speech at the 20th International Muslim Forum "The Way of Peace: Dialogue as the Basis of Harmonious Coexistence" held in Moscow, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
Sheikh ul-Islam said in his speech that one of the important points in ensuring the spiritual and moral stability of society is skillful regulation of state-religion relations, careful approach of the state and concern for the needs of religious people.
The Chairman of the Council of Muslims of the Caucasus said that the Muslims of the CIS are united by the historical tradition of mutual respect, friendly neighborhood, and a single spiritual space based on holy religion.
Chairman of the Council of Muslims of the Caucasus also spoke about the preparation process for COP29.
On behalf of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan, he congratulated Ravil Hazrat Gaynutdin, Chairman of the Spiritual Department of Russian Muslims, Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia, on his 65th birthday, and thanked him for his support to Azerbaijan during the 44-day Patriotic War.
