A seminar on "Religion factor in ideological struggle: expectations from the media" went underway in Shusha, APA reports.
The Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations Ramin Mammadov, the head of the Humanitarian Affairs Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan Arastu Habibbayli, as well as representatives from various institutions and members of the media are participating in the event.
It should be noted that within the framework of the two-day seminar organized by the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations and the Foundation for Propagation of Moral Values under its authority, sessions titled “Freedom of religion and free media: where do the boundaries begin?”, “The role of the media in the organization of religious education: the main methods of publicity and influence” and “Tackle with religious radicalism and the media” are planned to be held.
