Azerbaijan continued to pursue an independent, multi-vector and balanced foreign policy in 2018, Hikmat Hajiyev, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, said on Thursday.
Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan remains the greatest threat to the country, Hajiyev said at a press conference on the outcome of 2017 foreign policy in Baku Dec. 28, APA reports.
“This year Armenia continued its occupation policy and maintained the status quo,” he noted.
Hajiyev said that in 2017, Azerbaijan continued its policy of restoring the country’s territorial integrity, ensuring security in the region, strengthening the international authority of the country.
