There is no enough justice in the world today said Novruz Mammadov, the assistant to the Azerbaijani president for foreign policy, head of department, APA reported.

He added that international law seems to be thrown aside.

According to him, the example of this is not only the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“We can see it in all issues. All states abuse their powers and dictate their own rules. This is the biggest threat. The threat of a great war is approaching. In the second decade of the 21st century, these states and their leaders, as well as certain public figures should be more attentive. We cannot avoid the principle of justice. If there is no principle of justice, universal values will only be in words. Why did Europe wait until it faces the separatism threat to show a fair position? This is a wrong approach. It was necessary to demonstrate a fair position from the very beginning. It is important to observe international law, relevant documents and resolutions. The EU countries decided to fight separatism only after it happened to them. This is wrong. If there was a concrete position in the period of the beginning of the Karabakh conflict, there would not be other foci of conflict. The whole world community would witness that going beyond the framework of international law has no prospects. The threat of separatism in Europe is bigger. There was the Second World War there, which left a mark in the hearts of many people. The nearby European country has specific problems, they are waiting for the opportunity to take serious steps. It is impossible to prevent this by force. This is a tragedy. It is necessary to observe the principle of justice. Then there will be security, stability, and sustainable development in the world,” Mammadov noted.
