“We evaluate this action of glorification of terrorist like a hero as creating condition to terror and strongly protest it”, said at the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, ONA Turkey Bureau reports.
It is stated that the remains of Armenian terrorist Gurgen Yanikyan who martyred Turkish Consul General in Los Angeles Bahadir Demir in January 27, 1973, have been buried in the soldier cemetery in Yerevan with the ceremony.
Turkish MFA strongly condemns Armenia’s action: “We mercifully remember all our servicemen who martyred while faithfully serving to our state”.
