Talking about democratic tendencies long-windedly in his interview, the Armenian FM wants to conceal Armenia's aggressive and occupation policy under the guise of “democracy”, Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Leyla Abdullayeva told ONA while commenting on the interview of Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan to the local "tert.am" portal.
According to her, the main target of the minister of Armenian public: “Talking about “democratic system and regulation” of the Armenian official who refuse to implement UN statute, Helsinki Final Act and UN Security Council resolutions by undermining norms and principles of international law and committing ethnic cleansing of local Azerbaijani population is both ridiculous and false”.
Leyla Abdullayeva stated that the statements of Z. Mnatsakanyan regarding solution of the conflict shows that Armenia is too far from finishing Armenian aggression and occupation policy that continues for ten years, and establishing normal neighborhood relations by respecting territorial integrity of the countries within recognized borders: “If Armenian foreign minister is interested in true democratic development, prosperity of their nation and security of the region then Armenian armed forces should be immediately withdrawn from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan and the return of the internally displaced people should be facilitated. Only after this, he can speak about universal values, democracy, and significance given to the human life”.
