Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov, the Emergency Situations Ministry told ONA.
During the meeting, Minister Heydarov provided detailed information about the activity areas of the Emergency Situations Ministry.
He spoke about the work on preventing emergency situations and eliminating their consequences. The minister noted the importance of successful cooperation with corresponding agencies of various countries, including the Russian Federation, in this direction.
He expressed satisfaction with improvement of the material and technical base of the Academy of the Emergency Situations Ministry as part this cooperation and the work done to conduct joint trainings, and noted the importance of the future development of these relations.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov thanked for the reception and noted the importance of continuing the cooperation between the corresponding agencies of the two countries in emergency management.
The sides also exchanged views on the issues of mutual interest.
