“Government of Azerbaijan is always working to ensure that our citizens live well,” said Ali Ahmadov, Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman-Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, ONA reports.

Ahmadov said that the citizens’ life has always been at the center of the government’s attention.

“For us, the human being is of the greatest value. The citizen of Azerbaijan is the state’s greatest wealth. Improvement of the well-being of people stands at the center of the state’s attention,” he said.

“Some time ago, under an Order of President Ilham Aliyev, orders were signed for improvement of the well-being of people. Additional measures are being taken within the state’s capacities to ensure that citizens live well,” added Ahmadov.

“Under the orders of the head of state, pensions, minimum salary and allowances have been increased. All the allowances provided to the citizens have been increased. As the government’s capacities grow, steps will be taken by our President in this direction,” he noted.

“The state’s capacities are used to improve the citizens’ well-being. Azerbaijan is such a strong state that it is taking such courageous steps. I believe that people highly appreciate this,” said Ahmadov.
