He said that the National Confederation has set up a Corruption Fighting Center within the scope of the Project of Entrepreneurs-Employers’ and Public Unions’ Role in Combating Corruption.
He added that they have submitted to the government a number of proposals on Construction Law, the Law on Conflict of Interests in the Activities of Authorities and the Code of Competition.
“We are now preparing proposals on the Bill of Compulsory Insurance against Work Accidents and Occupational Diseases,” he noted.
Mr. Mammadov added that entrepreneurs have problems of various kinds which are most caused by local authorities.
“Local authorities knock down the privately-owned facilities under the name of renovation and sometimes don’t compensate the owners. Sometimes the owners are deprived of their establishments,” he added.
The Confederation has 32 representative offices. /APA-Economics/
