The supervisory board of Azerbaijan Insurance Companies Association meets today

The first part of the meeting was closed for media, APA-Economics reports,
The meting was attended by the Finance Ministry officer for insurance Namig Khalilov, parliamentary economic policy commission chairman Ziyad Samadzade and senior officers of the insurance companies operating in Azerbaijan.
The meeting discussed the situation on insurance companies, prospects and ways of deepening relations with international insurers.
The supervisory board chair Kamal Abdulayev said the association plans to implement a number of projects, including establishment of insurance training center, holding an international conference, raising public awareness, building relations with media etc.
The AICA was established on December 29, 2006. Kamal Abdullayev, chair of Standard Insurance board, was chosen chair of the Supervisory Board.
The association aims protecting rights of insurance market participants, encourage adoption of new insurance law and help implement insurance-related projects. The membership duty is AZN 5,000 for insurance companies. /APA-Economics/
