Before leaving Baku he told a press conference that the World Bank mission has submitted a package of proposals on the Environmental Clean-up Project to the President Ilham Aliyev and Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov.
He noted that the World Bank is ready to allocate $250 million to $300 million for this project. The funds will be spent on clean-up of household and radioactive wastes and recovery of oil-contaminated lands.
By the initial calculations, recovery of polluted lands will spend about $75 million while other projects will spend more. /APA-Economics/
