Azerbaijan’s oil exports reach 20.9 million tonnes for January-August

Azerbaijan exported a total of 20.908 million tons of oil during January-July, 56.5% higher than the same period last year.
Azerbaijan International Operating Company sent abroad 20.092 million tons of oil, up 59.1 million tons from the same period last year. .
The SOCAR told APA-Economics that no oil was pumped via Baku-Supsa pipeline during this period.
749,125 tons of oil was delivered to Georgia’s Batumi Port by railway.
Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline transported 1.513 million tons of oil during January and August, with a year-on-year decline of 1.616 tons, or more than two times.
Besides, 18.647 million tons of Azeri oil was exported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, up 16.274 tons from the same period last year.
Azerbaijan exported a total of 22.127m tons of oil during 2006, of which 20.955 tons was pumped by the AIOC. /APA-Economics/
