United Arab Emirates has agreed to sign bilateral protocol on Azerbaijan’s WTO accession and this is the fifth country have to date agreed with Azerbaijan, said Adalat Muradov, the country’s economic development ministry officer for WTO accession.
He added that Azerbaijan’s Working Party with the World Trade Organization had an informal meeting.
“If everything continues to progress at the present rate, we will overcome all the problems with accession. We are working on translation of paperwork into English. The Working Party will meet at the year-end,” he added.
Azerbaijan has signed the first and only bilateral protocol with Turkey since it was granted an observer status in 1997. /APA-Economics/
