Azerbaijan Communications and Information Technologies Ministry will request the parliament to review the Intellectual Property Law as recommended by Booz Allen Hamiliton consulting firm, which prepared the package of proposals on innovation zone project.
“Local human capital development needs progress for establishment of regional innovation zones. Protection of intellectual property is vital for setting up sustainable climate in the country. If the bill is adopted in fall, the biggest investors will start operating from next year. If our proposals are met, it would be suitable for foreign companies to operate in Azerbaijan.
He added that the government will offer favorable tax and customs in the innovation zones. /APA /
