State Service for Consumer Market Control to monitor wholesale market

Khaliq Mammadov, chair of the State Service for Consumer Market Control, said they have started to monitor fizzy drinks in sales and catering facilities.
During monitoring 684 kinds of expired, unidentified and unlabeled drinks were found and withdrawn from the sale.
“Samples from 52 products have been analyzed in the laboratory sine March 9. Financial penalties of AZN 16,586 were imposed on wrongdoers. Between 75% and 80% of the products were not properly labeled, the expiration date was not found on labels,” he added.
Mammadov also said that the State Service for Consumer Market Control plans to monitor wholesale market in a few days. /APA-Economics/
