Azerbaijan Auditors’ Chamber and ACCA to sign cooperation memo

Azerbaijan Auditors’ Chamber and the Association Chartered Certified Accountants will ink a memorandum on cooperation on June 20.
Azerbaijan Auditors’ Chamber told the APA-Economics that Natalya Vovchuk, representative of the UK Office, will lead a delegation to Azerbaijan and a regional office of ACCA will be established in Baku according to the memorandum.
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the largest global professional accountancy body, with nearly 300,000 members and students in 160 countries.
Founded in 1904 in London, ACCA’s mission is to provide quality professional opportunities to people of ability and application, to be a leader in the development of the global accountancy profession, to promote the highest ethical and governance standards and to work in the public interest.
ACCA has 22 members and 169 students in Azerbaijan, it doesn’t train but award certificate to accountants. Azerbaijan Auditors’ Chamber has negotiated with Samara Institute of Professional Accountants (SIPA) and Ukraine Auditors Chamber on increasing the number of students. /APA-Economics/
